My name is Dr. Mati Davidson
and I was born in Romania in 1950.
Photography has been my main way of expression for the
last 25 years or so. My photography education includes a
B&W course instructed by Mr. Yakov Burnshtein, courses
and workshops by "Odyssea", and a lot of "hands-on"
experimenting.
During the early `80s, I shot mostly B&W, with my 35mm
COSINA camera. I developed and printed in my home lab. Later
on, I switced gradually to color and finally to Digital
in the recent years. I use a Fujifilm S7000 for my digital
photographes and a vintage Minolta for film and slides.
Acting as a college and high school teacher, Photography
is a hobby for me, yet a very passionate one.
